Development Coordinator, Regional & Global Development - University of British Columbia
The UBC Development Office is seeking an experienced Development Coordinator to join the Regional and Global Development team. The Regional and Global Development team, within the central Development Office, is responsible for supporting complex donor and prospect visit programs for senior management including the President, Vice Chancellor and Vice President, Development and Alumni Engagement to contribute to the achievement of annual fundraising benchmarks and performance goals, and to help facilitate maximum private and public sector support for the University.
The Development Coordinator, Regional & Global is responsible for providing program implementation and coordination for development visit programs including information management, correspondence development, and compilation and distribution of briefing packages. This position is instrumental in the delivery of programs and services designed to facilitate lifelong relationships with UBC donors, alumni and students. Participates in on-going fundraising planning.
- The successful incumbent will have a minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Effective computer skills
- Proven ability to interact effectively and positively with staff, managers and donors
