President Elect

Executive Director, Foundation and Alumni Relations Douglas College

As a leader and fundraiser, Tracy demonstrates a commitment to empowering fundraising professionals to realize their passions in making a significant impact on our communities’ most pressing challenges and needs. She is the Executive Director of Foundation and Alumni Relations at Douglas College, and a board member of the Fresh Roots Urban Farm Society.

Formerly, Tracy was the Executive Director, Campaigns at Simon Fraser University and the Assistant Dean, Development and Alumni Engagement, at the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia. Tracy’s early career roots are in community organizing and activist campaigns with over 20 years of experience advocating in the areas of business and international human rights, food security and youth empowerment, and marine and forest ecosystem protection. Transforming her talents for strategic engagement to become a fundraising professional in higher education for the past 15 years, Tracy has applied a social change and community-centric fundraising approach in diverse areas. She is inspired at how conversations on the role of fundraisers in society are now front and centre in our profession.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria, and a Master of Social Work and Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. She loves walking in the forest with her dog, working in her pollinator garden, and enjoying laughter with family and friends over a lovingly prepared meal and wine.
